Loss prevention?

has anyone ever worked in LOSS PREVENTION and or know the field, if so did you have any thoughts on the job itself?

Loss prevention?
Well, you are getting a response from someone who has been in the business of loss prevention for the past 22 years. I have led 2 of the top 5 Fortune companies in America's loss prevention divisions.

The LP field is a very rewarding career. Entry level jobs are available to most people who have a clean criminal history, and can pass a drug test. Finding these jobs are not very difficult, and with some time and energy, you can promote through the ranks into a management position.

Look at major retailers for opportunity. As well, take the time to seek loss prevention educational courses at community colleges to gain additional insight, training, and a stepping stone to a 4 year degree program. Many retailers today require a 4 year degree to advance into a management position.

Pay and security are good in this career field for the right person. Find a job, work your tail off, and get noticed! Good luck!
