What other careers could my husband go into that correspond with Loss Prevention and Asset Protection?!?

My husband has been working in the Loss Prevention/Asset Protection field for 8 years now. He started as a Loss Prevention detective (catching shoplifters) and worked all the way up to a District Loss Prevention Manager position last year. Sadly, he was laid off and since then he was forced to take another detective position. There aren't any companies where we live, that are hiring for upper management Loss Prevention positions and I was wondering if anyone else had started in Loss Prevention and what jobs they were able to go into, that are closely related with Loss Prevention. Any advice would help as we are living paycheck to paycheck. Thanks!

How about start a loss prevention consulting business. There are tons of smaller businesses that can afford their own department.

He could install security cameras, guide people on safety and minimizing loss. There is a big need for that among smaller businesses.
Reply:Banking is certainly a feesible and lucrative option
Reply:Sears is one of the best companies for hiring upper management Loss Prevention Positions. They have managers for each store, but they also have different branches of management, such as Territory and Regional LP managers. Also, there are so many Sears locations hopefully you and your husband might live near one. I hope I could help!
