Prevention or cure? which one is more important and why?
In relation to dental issues, my opinion would be prevention. If you get your teeth cleaned every 6 months as suggested, you can hopefull avoid things like cavaties and gum disease, or at the very least find them early while you can have the tooth filled rather than pulled and so forth. Dentists can also find problems with the roots of teeth and the jaw bones with the x rays they take.

The 'cure' to many dental issues will include extensive cleaning that require anesthesia or lots of numbing, removal of the teeth, and surgery. All those things are much more espensive than paying to have your teeth cleaned twice a year.
Reply:They both are incredibly important. Prevention keeps people from needing a cure, but the cure is needed when prevention is unsuccessful.
Reply:prevention,we wont have to look for cures all the time if we just work harder at prevention!but laziness stops us!
Reply:Prevention is always better, because you may not find a cure, so be wise prevention is always better.
Reply:While today's doctors prescribe prevention medicines, I believe that the only satisfactory method is to cure the illness. You could spend 100 times more for prevention pills than a certain cure.

Reply:Prevention has to be more important. Cures don't always work, and they usually leave some residual, plus they are usually costly and I could go on.
